Right after I turned 50 my life changed drastically and I struggled with big decisions like where to live, what to do for income and how to re-build my life as a single, empty-nest, unemployed middle aged woman.
Using the same strategies I offer my clients, I learned how to begin the process of creating a new life based on my values and priorities. I learned to make decisions that move me forward at each step along the way.
Through individual coaching, group seminars and workshops I help my clients set goals and plan for their own journey through the second half of their life.
As of November, 2010 I am going to be a bit of a nomad as I move around to visit family and find a possible new place to live. The best way to get in touch is therefore by email.
What I Offer You
Realistic Assessment: Unlike your friends and family, I am objective and have no emotional attachment to your future. I'll be honest about what's possible while encouraging you in the direction that will bring you success.
Unique Ideas: Guidance counselors love to say, "you should be a (one word answer).I like to say "you could be a Fresh-Air Photographer, a classic British car restorer, an art-deco antique dealer or a children's party concierge."
Resources and Information: It is absolutely necessary to arm yourself with knowledge before you make life-changing decisions. I can direct you to some of the best sources and experts available.
Accountability: We all work better when we know that someone else is expecting results from us. Being held accountable will make you more productive and keep you on track.
Confidence: As a coach I help you identify the inner voices that undermine your ability to move forward, and show you how to grow more confident of your abilities with each step.
A Partner: Most of all, anyone attempting a life or work change needs an empathetic partner who understands the problems and challenges and is willing to walk along down the road.
I welcome questions and conversations about the coaching process and its benefits for you.
